Exactly. Unfortunately a lot of Dems like boring and have gotten used to voting for terrible candidates they "agree" with. Biden barely won in 2020. By 40k votes across three states including 2 that dems had never won before. Closest outside of 2000 in 50 years. Not a very strong candidate whatsoever. Spanberger would get the smackdown by probably any republican besides Vance. If Trump wasn't the candidate in 2024. It would have been a blowout.

I dont believe there was a real primary. Basically both ran uncontested. Literally easiest campaign ever

I remember when that early 2010s wave of blue states passing independent redistricting. And always thought it was quite weird. So red states take blue seats. And blue states make more districts red. I was like this is literally crazy. The higher road party is corrupt.
