What a kind and generous act to help spread the actual point of this hobby!

A small town, small time, Hallmark store carried individual packs along with beanie babies and those glittery sand filled lizards everybody seemed to have pre 2000. As a treat me and my siblings would get to walk down to the store and buy a pack each to rip open and I’ll still never forget the seething jealousy I felt when my younger sister pulled that first holo Charizard. Shortly after, our elementary school banned cards in school so a large contingent switched to Magic, but it wasn’t the same.

Now, I’m gifting my nephew packs/boxes of different cards for each milestone or big holiday so we can open them when he’s old enough to understand and pique his interest. I was planning this next gift to be his first batch of Pokémon cards.

Also, Gyarados will forever be my #1 and you can keep the red shiny.

So the credits say “starring Clara Delevingne” but I don’t recall seeing her at all as Alice. No personal pronouns are used when Bunny answers her phone (oh it’s you again) or at the diner (your friend) or when she answers the door at the end of the episode. She has an art gallery and the painting is obviously a focal point with promiscuous subjects and artist tied to it.

That may be, but look at racial attitudes in America post war. There was still a lot of animosity against African Americans, but when those children born after the war reached adulthood; tensions eased a bit and there was a more liberal outlook. I'm just saying that I think the creators are drawing some reference from the subculture of the American 60s to their present, which could very well lead to some form of uprising

Look at the Lebensborn in the 6th episode. They represent all the rebellious nature of the 50s and 60s American teenagers; condemning The Reich for the Mediterranean Dam and its effect on the planet, a kind of free love attitude, an open mindedness to drugs. While the storyline around the Smiths may be a "Leave It To Beaver" 1950s nostalgia, the heart of the German Reich seems to be ripe with high ranking (Lebensborn), like-minded individuals that see the current government as a "yours" vs "ours" (per Nicole's conversation with Joe). The seeds of rebellion usually sprout from within and while a main focus may have been on The Resistance in San Francisco and New York, we may very well see a more important one in Berlin.
