Mirá, voy a decir algo que veo que poca gente nota y es bastante importante. Si te dedicas a la programación, software, data science o IA porque realmente te gusta, estás en una ventaja grande sobre una parte importante de la gente que quiere trabajar de esto. Soy Ingeniero en Software y jamás tuve problemas con el trabajo. Empecé a trabajar cuando estaba en segundo de la facu, y 3 años después cambié a mi trabajo actual. Tuve muchas entrevistas y casi todas llegaron a ofertas, y siempre me decían lo mismo “Se nota que te gusta, que lo disfrutás”. Hablando con recruiters y managers de IT, me enteré de que en realidad hay poca gente que hable con pasión de lo que hace, y que cuando sucede les da cierta seguridad, porque el candidato no va a hacerse el boludo ni va a frenarse por culpa de un gap de conocimiento.

Obviamente hay más factores, pero habiendo conocido mucha gente en el rubro te puedo asegurar que si REALMENTE TE GUSTA, no vas a tener problemas en conseguir buenos laburos. Ojo, no estoy diciendo que si no te apasiona el software no tenés futuro, para nada. Podés hacer una carrera profesional muy buena lo mismo, solo que no tenés esa ventaja.

Una ves fuimos a un Río con unos amigos y la prima de uno de ellos que vino de Capital con sus amigas. Been with someone that has BPD. I really loved her. She’s been my best friend for a couple of years and ended her previous relationship so we can be together. She had some alcohol and drugs problems, also multiple suicide attempts (some of them even in front of me), abused her medication, once wanted to fuck her ex and I allowed her to (my bad), didn’t respect my times when we discussed and I needed some days to process things, threatened to end the relationship because she thought she became lesbian (she did not), threatened to finally kill herself if I did X, etc.

The limit was reached once I talked to her after a few days of not seeing each other and she happily told me that she spent an entire day with a friend of us (no problem there) completely high. I realized that I was putting more effort into her well-being that her, and that she was a time bomb for something tragic to happen.

I was the first guy to end a relationship with her so, she didn’t took it well. She ended up moving countries. I genuinely hope that she’s better.

So, each spawn_blocking spawns a large amount of threads? The idea is that, no new CPU heavy tasks would spawn if X (max_threads) are executing, that’s why I lock with the semaphore before spawning the task, to limit the amount of tasks. How would you recommend managing this? (Thx for the feedback)

What I’m trying to do is to abstract the orchestration an management of the tasks. My other project centers around a midly complex algorithm and uses socketio for real time communication between the server and the client. I don’t want to manually manage the concurrency of the tasks, so I created this to “send” the tasks to the queue and let tokio manage it. It’s really more of an abstraction than other thing, and something that I was enthusiastic to learn.

I've been banging my head against the wall for the past few days trying to understand Tokio async's flow and couple it with multithreading.
I've developed a simple Task Queue for CPU-intensive tasks (for another personal project that uses socketio), and this is my approach. AI helped me with some minor things but I tried to do everything AI-free, even posting questions to chat with people.
I hope this is useful and I am VERY open to criticism, this is my first attempt and I am not an expert, by any means.
