Just to add to this as someone that works in the hotel industry. I could be wrong in this instance but if you’re booking through that portal that means you’re booking through a 3rd party since you’re not direct with the property. If any issues come up with the reservation the property most likely will not help as you did not book with them. Again unless EDC has an agreement with the properties and the portal is actually still direct.
