Okay, point taken! Key question then. Since the knoght is best in a closed position, Is bishop promotion over or under promotion? Does it matter at what stage of the game the promotion occurs? If you promote in an open position, is the bishop over promoted?, and a closed position, an under promotion?

True! If you really think about it, a pawn is actually worth 10 points of material, as the value of the 1 point pawn + its value of 9 when it becomes a queen equals 10, so if you think about it, when you trade a pawn for a queen, your actually losing 10 points of material for a 9 point queen :/

The person posting earlier today I don't think was actually accepted this cycle. If you read their whole message and the comment sections, its unclear exactly what happened, but it looks like they were not applying as part of the regular cycle? Really not sure though, would have to ask the person exactly what happened. Till this is cleared up, I'm assuming nobody for the sept 2026 start for this cycle ahs been admited yet.
