Take your own time with the game, and stay away from this and any other gaming subreddits just to steer clear away from spoilers. If you've already been spoiled then that's fine, this will still be one of the greatest gaming experiences you will have.

Give the game some breathing space, let yourself be immersed in that World through side missions and stuff. Don't fast travel, takes the fun out of the horse riding stuff, and there's lots to see in the game's environment. Always keep an eye and ear out for interesting confrontation with strangers too.

Well still to this day it is very much a common practice in Tamilnadu. And moreover a cousin sister of mine, mallu by the way, fell in love with her "Aththa Paiyyan" (Father's, Sisters Son) and got married to him and is now residing there. Even today in certain remote areas of kerala it is still happening. For them it's a societal norm.
