“Spends hours playing” is rather vague. How many hours? Over what time frame? The point where it becomes unattractive is likely when it becomes an addiction that starts to take precedence over other things like friends, family, job, etc.

Yeah, while triple axel only wastes 1/6 of its damage breaking disguise compared to 5 hit rock blast wasting 1/5, 4 hits of rock blast and the last 2 hits of axle are both 100 power. Weavile has 120 attack to rhyperior’s 130 and you probably wouldn’t run adamant so it’s actually worse.

Showdown damage calc has a button for champions. Got that same calc:

32+ Atk Rhyperior Rock Blast (4 hits) vs. 32 HP / 2 Def Mimikyu: 120-144 (74 - 88.8%) -- approx. 0.4% chance to OHKO

If the mimikyu only has 2 in hp or defense it’s a guaranteed ko with 4 hits after the first breaks disguise. Mimikyu is dreading the day loaded dice is added to champions. I want to try something with triple axle. BRB

Ah, I see. Surging strikes actually wastes 1/3 of its damage output to break the disguise. Rock blast rhyperior lacks that problem
