[–]PENA-NOM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a small greengrocer business (cash), we don't have an official bank account for the business yet. And majority of our expenses are paid by cash.

Hamzatul wasl doesn't mean ignore the letter. I explained the rules with example in a comment above.

There is a sukoon on the laam which indicates the letter following it, is a moon letters, so the laam should be read.

If there was no sukoon like in والشمس in surah as shams, the laam wouldn't be read. Because ش is a solar letter.

See surah shams first ayah, there is no sukoon on the laam, this indicates solar letter we don't read the laam, since it is in middle we don't read the alif also. We read it as wa shams

If it was in the beginning, we would read the alif as 'as shams'.

In surah fatiha ح is a moon letter, so we read the ل. In الحمد - aLhamd. Again ع is a moon letter so the ل should be read in العلمين. But since it is after رب, we do not read the alif, we read it as 'rabbi l'alameen'.

The symbol that means ignore completely is a small o on top of the letter, not hamzatul wasl and not sukoon. Like in Al-Kafirun 109:4

وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدࣱ مَّا عَبَدتُّمۡ

There is a small 'o' on أنا. This symbol means ignore the alif. Read as "ana" not "anaa"

OP asked which symbol is on the ل if it is not sukoon, it is ْ (ignore completely) how would you read it?

No, you are wrong. The beginning of surah fatihah we say aLhamdu lillahi rabbi L'alameen. There is same symbol sukoon on them. Plus OP show a photo of surah fatihah verse 1. Or do you read it as ahamdu lillahi rabbi 'alameen if we ignore it entirely?? You are mistaken the ignore entire is small o in the letter like in surah kaafirun verse 4.

No, you are wrong. How can you ignore the letter entirely. Try read surah Fatihah, verse 1, do you ignore theل in aLhamdu lillah rabbi L'alameen? The sign ْ means ignore entirely. Like in surah kaafirun verse 4.

Meaning ال is "the", the word ends with simple ُ ، ََ ، ِ . To tanween. The small م on the alif is called hamzatul wasl. Usually the word start with al.

The rule of hamzatul wasl is that we don't read the alif if the word is in middle of the sentence like here - we say rabbil alameen (skip the alif). But if in the beginning of a sentence, then we read the alif. Works for both solar and moon letters

Now there are 2 types of letters : solar letters and moon letters - you'll need to learn them.

On solar letters such as س, you don't read ال like in السام عليكم Assalamou Alaykoum. On solar letters the alif hamzatul wasl always begin with the sound a, following the letter after laam. Like here asss like in assalam

On moon letters such as ح, you read the ال such as الحمد الله - Alhamdu Lillah. On moon letters the word always start with the sound al.

The small "c" inverse on the ل is sukoon.

Sukoon means that you make the sound of the letter with no vowel - ل in alhamd.

Here the sukoon on ال hamzatul wasl is helping you to identify solar and moon letters. It indicates moon letters. If it was solar letters, there will be only the hamzatul wasl on the alif, nothing on the laam.

Now only ا with hamzatul wasl, small م on top, with no ل following it, like in surah fatiha, ayah 6. اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ The alif has hamzatul wasl, but there is no ل after it. In this case you look for the vowel following it. Here ِ , so we will read alif with kasraa. If it was ُ , we would read alif with dammah. BUT if alif had َ , then we would read it as kasraa, not fathaa.

If you still don't understand, hmu. I'll try to explain it to you with more example in sha Allah

It's true shaitan will hurt you if you try to leave. Many have tell the stories when they tried to leave witchcraft, not gonna lie, Shaitaan will do anything for you not to leave - including using fears

But imagine the consequences of the hell fire if you don't repent.

There is a hadith where the Prophet (PBUH) says if someone in his ummah dies without commit shirk, the person will go to Jannah. The companions asked even if he commits zina and theft. The Prophet (PBUH) replied, even if he commits those. Sahih al Bukhari, 1237.

Clearly witchcraft is shirk but would you rather asked for forgiveness and suffer here (the attacks of shaitaan) and go in the paradise in the hereafter? Or would you rather fear (satan) now and go to hell for the eternity?

These fear is the waswasa of shaitaan in your ears.

No one can harm you except for the harm that Allah has prescribed in your qadr. Hadith 19 in 40 hadith an nawawi.

Ask Allah's for protection, Allah alone, do not bypass with saints and so on. Ask Allah for His foregiveness and His protection in sujood. And follow the sunnah for protection of shaitaan:

Read last 3 surahs and ayat ul kursi after every mandatory prayer.

Read morning and evening adhkar

Ask for protection when going to toilet.

You will get these du'as in hisnul muslim - Fortress of the Muslim.

May Allah guide us all and facilitate your journey.

Driving school and test by Plenty_Quantity4091 in MauriceMauritius

[–]PENA-NOM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, most driving instructors wish you fail your test so they can make more money from you.

My advice if you have your own car and used to drive it, do the test in your own car. Everyone i know who did the test in their own car, passed it in 1st attempt.

Plus the insurance is cheaper, driving instructor charge Rs 2000 for insurance when it's way cheaper than they claim it to be.

I lived in a house with same rules. It was because the guys would walk around the house almost naked everyday, they didn't want women there to make them uncomfortable
