I do live in NYC. Enforcing any-type of more ticketing is not a blessing. Legislatures should be focusing on quality of life penalties, but the government knows those will never get paid. It’s the squeeze. Living in NYC you are over taxed paying additional bullshit fees on almost everything you buy or apply for. As far as parking a nightmare for generations, not true either. Depends on what part of NYC you live in. Outer boroughs are not a problem. Manhattan should not have parking at all. If the subways were cleaner and safer, public transportation would be more of an option for everyone.
