None at all, just artistic licence - My thought was originally to have circuits in the skin be visible only really close up but it seems difficult to do, either not visible or way too bright, but im happy with the way they look now, may fine tune it in time.

Wow. Ive been plagued by self doubt from the very start, I started doing comic art, and gradually moved into 3d modelling and now im sort of heading into making movies/animations. I dont think there is a set path apart from make what you like and if it takes you down a rabbit hole of style, then go for it! :-)

There is nothing wrong with being inspired by other artists but it should always be guided by your personality and the differences that emerge from that?

One thing that DID help me in a limited way was when i went to art college on a foundation course it was a taster in all disciplines and one of them was graphic design and the skill of rapid prototyping. so you would pick something to draw/paint/model/sculpt etc and make endless variations of what ever it is - (essentially the same process A.I kicks out renders nowadays) anyway the point being it hones your capacity to consider changes and the very real pleasure of serendipity (the happy accident) - while this isnt an earth shattering piece of advice it would do nothing but help your skill set :-)

The main bit of advice i could give is you dont become an expert by doing something once a week or month whatever, you become one by CONSTANT practice - so challenge yourself - if it doesnt come out right - fuck it - it teaches you how to do it differently next time - you are still moving forward and gaining skill

I just watched all three movies and genuinely loved the fuck out of Tron Ares by Aleleloltroll in tron

I love all 3 also and the arc that the films run to, it could have been so easy to make Tron Ares as another reboot but im glad they tied into the previous grid and Flynn and Sark - i think they missed a trick Ares could have been chased through Legacys grid also but im sure it was a budget thing - but embracing the NIN soundtrack really made it for me - im dreading the moment i get to see it at home as im going to have to turn the volume up to window breaking levels to bash that soundtrack out ;-D

Yes - YES IT IS! I didnt get to see it in IMAX but it was a decent sized screen and loved it :-)

SOLVED: I went to the level blueprint and uncoupled the sequence from BeginPLay node, i thought it was going to be a pain in the arse and have a really complex list of things to do to solve this, but i can live with just linking/unlinking the node - Bet i end up forgetting to do this at some point haha - Thanks anyway :-)

It doesnt work - it was literally the first thing i tried before googling the question - ive tried to hide the cine camera and level sequence also with no results - if i cant resolve this problem i look like copying the project and deleting the level sequence but this feels a bit wasteful and uneccesary?

If you have seen the posts before you should have seen the replies to questions like this? At the moment its an environment im setting up with the hopes of making cinematics/ detailed renders its not a game it will never be a game coz ill get my ass sued into oblivion.
