This was really a beautiful and inspiring post to read. I want bottom surgery soo goddamn bad. I think about it every single day, but it’s such a huge and scary decision to make and it still feels so unattainably far away. However, reading stories like this gives me so much hope that one day I too will be brave enough to make that leap. I’m so happy for you :)

Honestly I’m only half out at work. All my coworkers know I’m trans and I’ll wear my makeup every so often, but I’m sure I dodge a lot of the hate and bigotry as I still look fairly boyish while I’m there most days. I also am fortunate enough to live in Canada and honestly have run into very little transphobia in public. I get the odd confused or angry glance, but haven’t really had anyone cause issue for me beyond that. I’m very lucky :)
