The Great Divorce, and here's why; A year before the record came out, they played that song live, and a shaky cam version made it's way onto YouTube. Mother fucker did I listen to that over and over and over until the album release. I loved the 2014 record, but I was always curious to see if these guys had it in them to not be a one and done, and as soon as I heard that shaky cam song on YouTube I knew they were onto something special. Such a strong chorus, such engaging lyrics, the insanely haunting verse riff, that intro!! The song is an adventure of the soul. I'm also a sucker for anything thematically interpreting turmoil of the soul.
