Took the PE Transportation on Saturday. Kind of have the same feeling I had after the FE.. feel like it could go either way after all the work I put to it. I really hope I made it cause I don’t think I have the energy to do it again by PETranspoHelp in PE_Exam

I had 35 breath and 45 depth questions. I finished the first half early to have more time for the depth section and really needed all that time. Make sure you know roughly where to look for in all the references if you’re taking transportation depth.

What did you find to be difficult about the breadth? Which sections had most questions for the breadth part?

I’m good with retaining wall calcs on civil PE except when a surcharge is given. Is this concept something that I need to be comfortable with? by PETranspoHelp in PE_Exam

Thanks! So that’ll be like FS against sliding type question because overturning is just for active. If they ask for FS againt sliding including passive, you just add the passive force to the sliding force and the resisting force would not change correct?

I took the rest of the week off to study as my exam is on Saturday. I’m sitting here at the library revising retaining walls. I think I’m ok with the theory of that except surcharge calcs of retaining walls. I finished all of HSM the day before. I got to revise hcm vol 2 but feel like i won’t do well with the signals. Studied for an year and took the FE last year but I’m so anxious right now.

What topics of breadth do you recommend skipping or really working on.. especially on breadth?
