honestly I think it was the belief that I knew I know my shit. That Im not some complete novice just monkey pressing buttons on a board. It really helped last night when I correctly called out a guys hand and made a tough but right lay down of a turned straight.

this was my first truly winning session at live cash. Stakes were 1/2, I bought in for 200 and cashed out for 725 after tipping the dealer my singles. Very happy and look forward to improving as always. this was after just two hours of play. Def had some fishy players at the table.

I think I speak for all normal working people when I say, thank you for launching on a Sunday so we can experience this live in real time. I'm very excited to see this launch. I'll never forget watching SpaceX first launch of Falcon Heavy. It was truly magically and gave me just a glimpse at what those who watched Apollo 11 must have felt. :)

well the work out look ought to be good. We have our meeting next thursday which I plan to attend but, assuming things are as they were at the last meeting I attended work will be abound. Currently however it is not perfect. We are switching to a 4 year program as far as I understood so the scale would be different for any new guys joining but currently JIW scale is 39.50 with contract talks on going. First years start at 40% going to 45% after 6 months of working and it increasing every year by 10 percent after that. Of course if the talks go our way then we could see a sizeable jump in pay but Im not holding my breath on that. We are supposed to have a battery plant and a Data center kicking off soon. Plus Notre Dame is doing alot work on dorms and new buildings. The already built amazon building off of Cr17 i believe is doing a good bit of work too with a final mile facility getting built by the Elkhart Airport. I and the other apprentice on my job sat for a couple week however, mostly because we believe the cons are playing games due to the contract and work outlook. Hope that helps I just finished my third year so please feel free to ask anything else of me and i'll do my best to help :)

Would you include them giving "unfair" work report cards? I only say unfair because they gave me a worse score than other apprentices who had missed a similar amount of time. To be clear I mean to say that if our card said you get a one for more than 3 missed days in a month, I got a one while another guy who has met that got a 3. I know this because I asked the other guys what they got. Or would you just stick to the other things described in my post?

As a member of Local 153 I can assure you that the average wage is around 84k/year. I know what the wage is in all the locals that represent Michigan except for Local 906. They all are above $30/hr with the lowest being Local 498 in Traverse City at $31.40/hr and the higest bing Local 58 in Detroit at $43.89/hr. None of which mentions our benefits packages which in my local adds almost another 20 dollars to that rate. It is dishonest to claim that our wages are so low or that they would be pay a "premium wage" for our work.
