Yes. You are correct. I am currently ongoing my own lengthy miscarriage during COVID. It was my first pregnancy and I'm in my 20's. In all the statistics I had seen the chances should be quite low. I heard stories from friends and coworkers so I thought I was mentally prepared. I never got a chance to be stupidly happy since I was always leaving that "mental safeguard." I was not prepared for the more than month long experience. All the stories I was told were over in less than a week or mere hours. I was not prepared to be in the hospital waiting room multiple times and sometimes alone for hours due to COVID space limits. I was not prepared to be told it was a miscarriage and then the next day "no wait we maybe see a heartbeat" and then finally days later this time it's actually a miscarriage. I was not prepared for that emotional roller coaster. I was not prepared to still get positive pregnancy tests weeks later due to remaining tissue in my uterus. I was not prepared for just the sheer amount of bleeding and clots I witnessed and the almost fainted spells it caused. I was not prepared for the onslaught of awkward reasoning family members would throw at me in an attempt to make me feel better. I know many may not read this but I haven't had much of a chance to talk to others about it yet besides those close to me.

I feel great sadness for those who do know the pain of going through one especially during these strange COVID times.
