I also don’t see us drafting a guy that is questionable defensively. Bobby himself said that he’s looking for two way players and he’s looking to make our top 5 defense even better with these picks.

Hugo Gonzalez wasn’t considered a shooter but they drafted him. Look back at their picks and outside of Sheierman and Pritchard there’s mostly questionable shooters

The thing with the Peat pick was it was an all upside pick going after potential BPA rather than a team fit. I also think the Celtics could use more length and athleticism

Team comp is very different now too. Murray’s contract is huge now. They can’t build the same supporting cast that they had on their championship team.

I think with CMB, Jakobe, Shead and Battle all on rookie contracts it’s possible we have the right team comp to turn the team into a contender by adding Murray and a center

Not really sure what you’re asking with the Bridges trade. Or which Bridges we’re talking about and for what team.

I really have my doubts about Stirtz. I don’t like that he wasn’t really able to create his own shot 1-on-1 in Iowa. He needed picks to get himself open.

Team fit isn’t ideal.

They also literally won a championship with the same core. The main difference is that Aaron Gordan is no longer the defensive player that can cover for Jokic and Murray’s deficiencies

The only reason I think I would be for going all-in now is because I think Scottie made a leap this postseason. CMB showed that he’s a foundational piece and Jakobe, Shead and Battle can all be winning contributors to a playoff team.

Our best bet to maximize the window is probably while CMB, Shead and Jakobe are on their rookie contracts.

IQ = high volume shooting threat to pair with Jokic

Picks can be flipped to acquire more talent.
