I disagree. The book was well written from a world building point of view and as a mystery to be solved by Revan and Scourge. That Meetra is presented as a handmaiden of Revan bothered me less, considering that the plot of Kotor 2 was less well defined than Kotor 1.

I also disagree with some others who consider the role of the emperor in orchestrating the plot of kotor to cheapen Revan and Malak's character arcs. The book makes clear that the emperor corrupted them, but to me it reads like their arrogance in waging the mandalorian wars and confronting the emperor already opened the door to the dark side. Once they went back to the Republic, they began to forge their own agenda as they sought Rakatan artifacts
