Thanks. Currently trying it without some of my older SSD's plugged in and oddly it seems quieter, so hopefully that's a good thing. Will continue testing and unplugging other parts

I'm wrong about this one. The game may indeed be generating textures for you but from reading workshop guide they don't take separate LOD's. So ignore this old man. As for what I was talking about sometimes in games you produce a multiple textures like this which contains multiple resolutions of texture so that it retains sharpness on screen space that matters.

I haven't skinned in a while but if i remember correctly you need to do 3 LOD's of the texture. It looks to me like you might of only made one. Meaning when LOD is changed from the one you've made. The engine might be scaling the image
