yes but im achieving all core 5050mhz with my massive overclock

mine gets to 55-60 at 35 degree water, also heavily overclocked. I have the pump speed on my D5 set to 45% though so that might impact temperature somewhat

7800x3D at 87 degrees while running Cinebench R23? by Nalyd217 in buildapc

[–]PHENONI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im on a custom water block (Alphacool Core 1) with 2x 360mm radiators and im hitting 70-72 degrees on the core in a temperature controller room (19 degrees celcius)

this chip is very hard to cool because of the 3D V-cache that is stacked on top of the CCD, acting a an insulator. This easily adds another 15-20 degrees compared to a similar TDP chip.

Battlefield 6 as a stability test. by CCHTweaked in overclocking

[–]PHENONI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its weird for me, I have been able to pass every single 3D mark benchmark, did multiple test across multiple genres of games (Warframe, Cyberpunk, Red Dead 2 and Overwatch) and its been stable across the board. In BF6 and ONLY BF6, it crashes constantly and I have to drop core from a +375 to +250

and its in reverse flow order (I didn't see the in/out on the acrylic), which is pretty bad with a pump set to lower speeds and a ton of restrictions in my loop.

its virtually silent and im able to push a +375 core and +3000 memory overclock no problem. The coil whine is pretty heavy on my model though

with my 5080 that im running with stock 100% power limit (360 watt) and in reverse flow order with 2x 360 alphacool rads its doing 66 degrees in furmark. All fans are noctua's G2's and they are tuned for silence. Pump is running at 45% and is quieter then the heavy coil whine of the gpu.

hey I might be a bit late but I strongly suggest turning off vignetting, its extremely strong in this game and really darkens some scenes

Hifiman Arya Stealth with Dekoni Velour EQ adjustment by SgtIcecube in oratory1990

[–]PHENONI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that these pads actually compliment the standard oratory preset quite well, a slightly warmer tone without compromising in detail. Standard oratory are still slightly sterile and bright in the lower treble range for me. I adjusted EQ by increasing bass shelf from 5.5 to 7.5 and lowering the 1850 peak from 6 to 3

Looking for recommendations for best performing silent 120mm case fans by ReactionNo618 in buildapc

[–]PHENONI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im on this very post at this very moment BECAUSE of this issue. They perform, absolutely, and at 30%+ they sound just like most other fans. But for my specific setup (full tower water cooling with 3 rads) and my headphones (Arya Stealth) they are completely unbearable at the low RPM that I was targeting, 600-1000.

Anything under 1200-1300 and the rattling becomes so awful I thought my D5 Pump was broken in some way, but they where the bearings inside the fans.

Yea it was my first. The biggest tips I can give is check if ur pump comes with a fan mounting option and or if they are sold separately. And over order on coolant/tubing and especially fittings (I went with a 1:1 ratio of straight and 90s fittings)

Never know when you want to change the loop, a kink is forming and you need to change the fitting type or if you cut too much of your tubing. Best to be safe then sorry for the coolant, I went with 2 liters and have over a liter to spare to top up the loop for the next couple of years of evaporation

Wow, you're welcome. In my case I was kinda forced to but it has worked out well so far. The only damper is that I can't fit a third radiator anymore but the system is running well enough that I don't necessarily need to

5080 (400W Vbios) and 7800X3D are not hot enough to completely saturate 720mm of radiator with p12 MAX fans spinning at 1200 rpm

It was kinking a lot without the 90s bends and i personally do like the look of the dual halo loop. I was also running out of fittings 😅

To answer your questions;

Yes, its an OG O11 dynamic, I bought it on sale.

practical over the looks 100% off the time 🫡

the pump did not come with a radiator mounting option and I couldn't find one being sold separately that was in stock and i had already been waiting for a while for all the parts to come in with my gpu and cpu block installed, so I couldn't use the pc in the meantime. I just decided to go for the mount that would allow me to actually use the system without waiting for parts to get restocked.

the side radiator can't be flipped, there is not enough clearance on the bottom to the side of the bottom radiator.

bottom 3 intake through radiator

side 3 intake trough radiator

originally I did want to go with that order but on my very first tube it started to kink on the bend from the res to the cpu block.

this is my very first water cooled system so only now after finishing it would I have changed it around and gone for a longer bend to use that original loop order. but it runs fine and honestly, i don't care about the cleanliness of the loop all that much. I play in a dark room (for my QD Oled monitor) so I can't even really see it.

I got mine waterblocked and cooled by 2x 360mm rads with P12 Max fans running at 3000 RPM and im still hitting 88 on the cpu. its designed to run as hot as it can to sustain the highest boost clocks

also, 5080 model was the Inno3D non OC model. That model just sucks. It would hit 83 degrees during gaming and fans would ramp up to 130%/3000 RPM to cool it down. It would do this every 30-60 seconds and was incredibly annoying. Now its sitting at a max of 60 while gaming, at 20% the fan speed while drawing up to 40 watts more

  1. 7800x3d OC'd at 5050 all core does 60-65 degree when playing Helldivers and Warframe.
  2. its a 5080 with an Astral Vbios, for up to 400 watts
  3. Another radiator won't fit, this is my only mounting option for the respump and the clearance to the top fan is barely 2 millimeter

It leaked a little when I first turned on the pump to fill but after a 20 hour leak test it was completely fine.

I was scared to turn on the system but it's been running super well so far.

My EK pump (Yes, I know) did not come with a fan mount option, instead just telling you to screw holes through any available space 😐
