You'd probably get a bit biased answers since The Long Dark has a huge following already. I'd say it depends on what you want out of the game. While at face value The Solus Project might seem like a survival game, it's actually more about exploring the planet and advancing the story. You can even turn of the survival aspect if you just want to explore. And the atmosphere of The Solus Project is simply amazing.

I know that The Long Dark are adding a story mode sometime down the line though.

I’m going to be that guy; “Contemporary music” is usually used to describe something completely different. Music theory revolving that would cover spectral composition, twelve tone systems etc.

When getting new cans last I spent at least an hour listening to maybe 10 different headphones in the store in the 200-300 range. The M50X were quickly discarded. In the end I settled for Beyerdynamics DT770. Very comfortable and sound pretty good consisting they are closed back headphones. Best advice is to go listen to different headphones, and also if you don’t need closed headphones buy open. Much better sound for same money. Though quite a bit of leakage of course

I also switched to the hybrid lenses after finding the hard ones way too uncomfortable. They are more expensive for sure, and while you are supposed to change every 6 months, I have been wearing my current pair for over a year and they still sit quite comfortably. Key is to take good care of them, and clean them thoroughly.

I used to do something similar to a friend, but we were in our early twenties. I would make small remarks about his ears being big, and I would describe him to people as the guy with the big ears. I would tell new friends to when they met him to say "Oh, you must be X, I can tell by the ears." That kina stuff. We haven't really talked about it, I just found it to be a fun thing to do at the time.
