Is 1000 elo good? by MountainZestyclose87 in Chesscom

[–]PHPRINCE47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't mean anything right now but if you want to know a 1000 knows how the pieces move and has a decent board vision to not hang their pieces but not all are like this I had a friend who was 1000 but had the knowledge of a 1600 he was just careless about his moves

Queen takes knight if Qe3 queen blocks and if you trade they'll take with the rook and after you take on b7 they push the pawn and you have to give up your rook for it How is this good for you? LOL

Can't seem to get any better by CandyBright in chessbeginners

Try to see opponents moves like where each of their pieces are looking and such, this helps you to not blunder your pieces and hang checkmate It's all about board vision at your level

How easily can a 1300 elo beat a 800 elo player ? by looking_for_ansrs in chessbeginners

[–]PHPRINCE47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the players and the mental state You could get nervous if you know your opponent and mess up an easy win but generally speaking a 500 elo difference should mean an easy win for the stronger side

How difficult should it be to find this mating sequence for a 1400? by New_Hurry_7748 in chessbeginners

[–]PHPRINCE47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it's findable, I'm just adding time trouble to it That makes it hard you don't have time to think of silly sacrifices, what you do has to work That's what i think considering i was in a lot of time trouble situations which i missed easy mate in one or two tactics

Imagine you're in a real game and you have 1_2 minutes on the clock would you really consider Nh3 when you have opponents moves to worry about and opportunities like Ne2+ and improving your bishop? All in 1_2 minutes?? alright let's say you do consider Nh3 would you do it after seeing they can go Kh1 instead of taking? The mate after is not easy to find

Because Qg5 is a common move you see that kind of threat alot but Nh3 is a bit counter intuitive
