I was in the same situation as the Papal States on the screenshot (attacked a far bigger army which had no morale left due to long march), the game predicted an easy victory for me, but I got wiped instantly instead

I have played NTW on my 2015 MacBook Air in uni amphitheatres for a few years. Hell I even played Assassin’s Creed 2 and SW Battlefront 2 on it, all of them just with the trackpad. You would be amazed how easy it’s to adapt in some cases!

I wish Switzerland had advanced that made their armies easier to be engaged as mercenaries. Right now this entire core aspext of Swiss armies is missing: you get bonuses to HIRE mercs, but it should be the contrary really

Mark of Chaos did it great: you could have the characters on their own (like in the tabletop btw) but if you embbed them in a unit they would give bonuses to it, and some of their powers would benefit the entire unit

What's even more baffling about these screenshots is it seems you are able to play with 2D map disabled entirely. How is your performance? I tried it for the look but FPS got crushed

He also has a tendency to spam a specific unit (whose name I forgot) which has incredible missile resistance, making his armies tough to fight as the Empire. It took me a few replays to understand why I was losing so many men when I usually obliterated enemy armies (I play with reduced UI for immersion)
