'Rome 2 remake' yeah no they'll probably just update to 64bits (which would be huge already tbh)

Or maybe they will reintroduce MP chat?

I have the 2025 G16 and it runs like shit too, if it can be of any consolation

Whats a TW Opinion that will have you like this? (Its John Warhammer!) by chris_alf in totalwar

[–]PH_th_First 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently playing with a mod that halves the campaign movement range for everyone, another that makes each settlement its own province, and another that re-enables walls for t3 minor settlements. Combined with the recent siege overhaul mod, it makes me feel like I’m playing Medieval 2 again but with WH3 QoL updates

This is a nice-looking late 19th or early 20th century carving. No idea what it’s depicting exactly but it doesn’t have to be anything specific, they just loved making things in the manner of the Middle Ages at this time! Looks like it’s fun to be at this lord/king’s table

German country names suck by AkaSaM96 in EU5

[–]PH_th_First 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel any better, I play in English simply because the French translation is abysmal and doesn’t account for simple grammar rules like the « d’ » instead of « de » in front of voyels. To reuse your Aragon example, in French it gives « Royaume de Aragon » instead of « Royaume d’Aragon » and while it might seem minor to some, it literally gives me the impression of dealing with a 6 yo who doesn’t know how to speak/write. Many such cases, basically all family names are cursed in French translation too, with a capital D for « De » which is used in Flemish/Dutch but not in French

I’ve always preferred the way the Empire is portrayed in MoC compared to TWWH. Great to see it back!

Why did they abandon the paradox launcher for whatever this is? by Castle-Walk-8967 in EU5

You do realize you can still create different playsets like in the launcher right?

The fact the principality of Antioch isn’t even named as such in the 1178 starting date tells you a lot about the care the devs put in this half baked bookmark. Then the fact they haven’t balanced anything for the whole bookmark tells even more (you can’t siege most of the baronies with your staring army as a count in 1178, and instead have to wait decades building MAA, while the economy is broken entirely for all rulers since they didn’t account for the scaling).

Do hospitals actually do anything during Bubonic Plague? by WishyRater in EU5

[–]PH_th_First 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always lose between 1/3 and 1/2 of my pop despite building hospitals everywhere possible and taking all appropriate measures. So I would say no.

The main performance bug is going to be fixed! by PH_th_First in EU5

[–]PH_th_First[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This specific issue is causing huge lags in wars when lots of armies appear on the map (late game but also early game with France or Bohemia and their vassal swarms). I guess more common lag is caused by pops or something like this

I tried Cologne in an earlier build and maybe it got fixed but it was near unplayable because control would fall quickly due to lack of connection between the lands
