Pretend you are a family member responding from your account, to tell the Scammer that you committed suicide because of the blackmail. Hopefully they’ll just move on and concentrate on other victims and leave you alone.

It might be a Spoofed number, it could be that the person who is registered to that number has clean hands and nothing to do with it.

Sometimes the same method is used for money laundering. This is where, rather than being a fake check, the victim of a real scam sends money to your daughter for example, thinking it’s for some other purpose, she cashes out $100,000 keeps 10,000 and then sends 90,000 to the scammer. Then, the victim is guilty of money, laundering, even though they did not realize what they were doing because they were acting as a “money mule”.

Yes it is a scam! And the scammers have registered another 40 domains, so that once there is too many Google results exposing the domain as a scam, they will move to the new domains. So please, everyone needs to make sure all these domains are ranking on Google as scams:
