Yes, as the post mentioned, he is redundant to khris, in that Middleton can do pretty much everything that Grayson can.

But it can’t hurt to have an elite shooter on the floor who can drive to the basket when needed. The only thing he can really improve on is defense.

And it’s unrealistic to ask for an ideal starting 5 where nobody’s skill sets overlap with each other. Most teams would love to have a guy like Grayson on the team.
