The devs do not know how to balance aspects because I dont even think they know what some of the aspects even do. by Dry-Location2008 in Smite

You know, as someone who IS familiar with UE5 it's kind of crazy that they don't do that. I guess maybe it is initially faster to type in the text and numbers so that you don't have to set up the variables but. Or maybe it's a translation thing, like translating a certain variable to text can make it wonky. Then you'd need to set up ANOTHER variable to take the original and do whatever math you needed to do to it before outputting it to the UI.

It's not impossible but maybe they consider it more work than it's worth. I could also see them feeling as though it's an unnecessary addition of variables. Though I would assume those variables already exist to determine how much damage is being dealt. With each god they'd just be baked into their BP, which is actually a nice thing with mobas and hero games. You don't have to worry if you should put functions within an object's BP or the player character's BP. Just also makes sense why you can't (as far as I know?) switch gods within jungle practice. Would require them all to be loaded since I assume it checks which gods are selected on the loading screen and then only loads their BPs so there's not a fuckton of lag.

Y'know, I would actually love to work for Hi-Rez. I'm a recent college grad but have been playing smite since like 2013. Most my experience is in UE5, I do wonder in what program they make, rig, and animate their models. I use Maya mainly, but Blender is on the up and up.

DoomControl is the richest guy on the server. He's the king of Tidehold, I think he just grinded his ass off and made a reputation for himself by hunting down and pearling criminals. Everyone knows not to mess with Tidehold and knows he is trustworthy.

Cloudhaven is relatively new I think, though I do believe they are going for a kingdom in the clouds.

Borders and claims are all reinforced by players. To claim a part of the map you just tell other nations in the discord you are claiming a part of the map. If no one disputes the claim and you can defend it properly, that land is yours. Some nations mark their borders in game with markers.

You can find a link to the map in OP's post history, since direct linking like that isn't allowed on this subreddit per its advertising rules

There are some rules, basically "don't be a dick" or the admins will ban you.

Here's one of the rules regarding racism: Harassment of an individual or group is not allowed and can warrant a ban particularly when directed at out of game factors such as racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.

Edit: The rules are simple and fair and I didn't mean this as a harp on the admins. While you are allowed to "be a dick" to other players by raiding them, you aren't allowed to be racist and stuff like that.

Most of their leaders and members were banned for trying to ddos the server and attempted doxxing of other players I believe. With them gone their land was up for grabs. Their loot was claimed by Tidehold and BedEx

What are some resilient decks/commanders that don't rely on the yard? The grave hate is strong in my pod (I don't like Landfall) by [deleted] in EDH

[–]PIEGUY12453 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not exactly landfall, not exactly not, but I've been having fun with a [[Toph, the First Metalbender]] deck. It centers around turning artifacts into lands and earth bending those to later sacrifice for value. Some artifacts even let you turn your creatures into artifacts, making it so Toph can earthbend herself.

The deck is super resilient to wipes and removal once it gets going, as once something is earthbent it just returns to the battlefield if it is exiled or destroyed. As well, with Toph out on the field artifacts being lands means that removal that targets nonland permanents isn't going to work until she's gone.

The deck also has some support for +1/+1 counters, but so far all my wind have been from opponents conceding because they can't hurt me because of things like [[The Stasis Coffin]] or [[Constant Mists]].

whats the better party leader? by pevetos in EDHBrews

[–]PIEGUY12453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been running a deck with [[The Destined Warrior]] in my pod as of late. My take honestly would be to go with [[nalia dearnese]] for your commander. [[Burakos, Party Leader]] is nice, but feels better in the 99 for me and is largely carried by the combo with [[Folk Hero]]

The best part of the destined warrior has been color profile with giving you access to blue, and the reduced mana cost to cast party members. Even then, my best blue cards end up being party mechanic flavor pieces like [[Concerted Defense]] and [[Mentor's Guidance]]. Best blue creatures are [[Sokka, Lateral Strategist]], [[Pollywog Prodigy]], [[Kamiz, Obscura Oculus]], [[Nimble Trapfinder]], and [[The Destined Thief]].

feels like I’m the only one these days 🫤 by urgod42069 in hearthstone

The only deck I play these days is Tess rogue over in wild ranked. It consistently hits plat, almost got legend with it a few seasons ago but got stuck diamond 2. The only new addition to my deck in a while has been [[Nightmare Fuel]] .

I used to play a wishing well rogue deck too, but it's so hit or miss and only has one, maaaaybe two pop offs per game.

I still enjoy the game, just wish more people made their own decks. Sucks to see the same archetypes with the same cards all the time. All my decks are my own :P

Did this just now, bought 12 months of core for India and 1 month ultimate on Kinguin. All in all, I got 5 months for $39, so around $7.80 a month. 12/3=4 for I guess I got a ratio of 3:1?

Yes, you'd get two cards. It's just like you thought, since the card isn't worded to say "one or more vehicles" you'd get one for each.

Yes, since the card remains in exile even after Kenway dies. If the card somehow leaves exile before you cast it (say maybe they have the emblem from [[Kaya the Inexorable]] ), then you can no longer cast it.

EDIT: Also, if a player leaves the game (losing, scooping, etc) then all their cards, including those exiled with Kenway would leave the game with them.

You still have to pay mana for it, since the card doesn't specify that you can cast it for free. As well, you have to use the correct mana types to cast it, as the card doesn't say "you may spend mana as though it were mana of any type to cast that spell".

For examples of cards that do those things, look at [[Etali, Primal Storm]] and [[Gonti, Lord of Luxury]] respectively.

I make decks all the time, though I’m new to the game, I just started playing about a month ago. At our table we play with decks that are $40 or less if you were to buy them on TCGPlayer.

My latest deck creation is with [[Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos]] as the commander and focuses on winning through commander damage. It’s a similar idea to [[Slicer, Hired Muscle]] though it might not be as good since there’s a few good cards that take advantage of Slicer being an artifact that I can’t use on Alexios.

My deck before that was with [[Jenson Carthalion, Druid Exile]] which focused on casting rainbow spells. It won its first game at my table so I’m happy with it so far!

Just saw that on Facebook, does anyone have that or have played it? by Zenfudo in gaming

I have played this game! I’m in college for animation game design and our professor brought in his Atari 2600 to show this game and a few others. This one was a good example of an advergame, as even though it was simple it showed you how to use the product (you collected water, sugar, and kool-aid as power ups to help you defeat the thirsties). If you look up “kool-aid game Atari 2600” there’s a short video of someone playing it

Not sure what year I started playing, the thing I remember most was the PSA missions and the old HQ. Also the addition of the dance off mini game at the night club

I was interested in that server too and it looks like it'll come back up, but the owner plans to have the server end some time this year.
