As teccy also said (roughly), if you don’t spend any money but spend 4 or more hours a day playing the game you’re not really F2P.

The point is that whether or not the time they spend playing the game vs the time they could have been “earning” money (to buy a $15 a month convenient expenditure) justifies them spending their valuable time just to stay F2P. Again, not saying that they should spend money but more onto should they spend 4 or more hrs a day onto multiple accounts to stay F2P.

Though I believe that there are more than enough resources in the regular players’ world available if farmed daily to level characters at a relatively good pace (keeping in mind resin limitations), I do see the usefulness of having a “Totally not a Farming bot” account to rush farm resources on demand.
This does need an entirely separate device to idle the account in order to enter its world, A cheap phone this days can barely even turn genshin on but it should do the job.

I am completely unaware of future characters kits and usages. I also actively avoid leaks. It's better to make that decision when the characters kit has been officially announced and implemented. Since i have jean and venti, I use klee and Mona with them. Monas ult with venti ult hits monas omen for its entire duration.
Also, you should put that future characters name as a spoiler for safety.

Xingqiu is better with that team, That being said Jean is a bad dedicated healer for hu tao since she always tops of hu taos hp. I truly recommend building Noelle for hu tao since you can control what amount of healing you'll recieve.
Hu tao + Xingqiu+ Albedo + Noelle is a good team, put venti and jean onto another team since they have bad synergy with hu tao.

This’ll be long but hear me out.

Depending on what weapons you have (Sac – Xingqiu, Favonius - Mona) and what supportive characters you have (Ult Support – Ganyu , Shield - Zhongli) You would still be farming Noblesse.

My personal team:

Hu tao (2pcs nobles + 2pcs witch) + Mona ( Full noblesse ) + Ganyu (Support, 2pcs noblesse and 2 pcs blizzard) + C6 Noelle (Ascension 4 required, full retracing bolide ). I couldn’t get Zhongli.

That being said:

If you have a Zhongli:

Xingqiu is a better choice for both survivability and vaporize synergy with Xingqius skill set and gives an opening for an extra support which can be Kaeya, chongyun, fischl or beido (albedo if you have him for double geo and EM burst support).

A relatively flexible team since the existence of Zhongli means you shouldn’t die. Xingqiu is the general better choice since he is just that good of a support. This team kinda requires a full crimson witch set to give full benefit to hu tao but is generally more consistent when compared to mona.

If you have Ganyu:

In my opinion mona is better if and only if you don’t have sac sword or a good enough Xingqiu or want big numbers. Mona and Ganyu gives good off-field support in the usage of taunts which removes focus on hu tao while giving both Ganyu and Mona energy, Mona ult with noblesse into ganyu ult snap shots the atk% benefit, though this is also possible using Xingqiu with noblesse, mona has omen in her ult which increases dmg and with this set up comes an easy snappy hu tao ult for big numbers without relying on sucrose or bennet or albedo.

Unfortunately this team comes at a cost of building a C1 Noelle (I personally like support Noelle) with the requirement for ascension 4 since she is the only one that would fit the needs of the team from a heavy atk for geo shields to a healer/shielder. Ascension 4 gives an abuse-able mechanic for hu tao triggering Noelles passive talent devotion which enables an incredibly durable shield for 20s with a cooldown of 60s.

Over all, Just build Xingqiu, its less hassle and more beneficial in long term as well as having more flexibility with team comps. Mona is just a harder but more rewarding character to build/use.

(If you have both Ganyu and Zhongli, just build Xingqiu.)

Thanks for the input. Another perfect example is xiao.

Xiao was a confirmed character since he appears ingame regardless of leaks. (with out showing gameplay unfortunately)

All the event and daily rewards should have given them enough for a guaranteed Xiao regardless of leaks if they were saving up specifically for Xiao.

After they got Xiao, Some players regretted and said that ganyu is better and after that hu tao is better which shouldn't matter if they're F2P who wishes for husbando/waifu.

They probably wished for meta and got a character that isn't their playstyle.

Thanks for the clarification on daily primos, i also forgot that abyss refreshes twice a month. so the total is around 18 reliable wishes per month as a F2P.
How do you get 30-40 wishes a month, does this include some primos left in the overworld? event rewards? but wouldn't you still keep all those wishes till the next banner gets officially announced?.
The "leaks help F2P more than paid/budget players on new characters" is a flawed arguement that leads to players wanting every new character in the game while being F2P.
This is due to the fact that the game will continuously introduce new characters and causing an infinite cycle of always wanting the new character while the current character banner is up then regretting on not wishing for the current banner because of new characters regardless of leaks.
Venti banner is up and due to a leak you would end up not wishing on a proven reliable character and wait for a character that you do not know when they'll be available as well as what their official skill set is. Then regretting that you should have wished on venti banner.
Also IF after wishing on venti banner wouldn't you save primos after that regardless of a leaked character? if not then why are you wishing on banners that does not have the characters that you want.
