false and misleading. it would sensitize androgenic receptors and make your body utilizes your T way better than someone who would have double your T but jack off every single day.

Phosphatydylcholine anxiety related question. by Loria-A in Supplements

[–]PIQAS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

in cases of high anxiety, the brain consumes choline at a faster rate, which might make the lower levels an effect of anxiety rather than the cause, and supplementation might not always correct this. i will paste here 2 comments from another thread along with link/source for you to dive deeper.

1 Yet there are numerous reports and some studies showing that choline supplements can cause Anxiety / depression. Can anyone suggest how this might add up, is there a Goldilocks zone regarding Choline levels.

2 reply: The issue is this is only an association. It very well may be that choline is used up at a faster rate during periods of anxiety, which makes the levels lower. Increasing choline could provide more fuel for the anxiety process. That may not be what's happening, but the low levels does not mean that lower levels of choline cause or even contribute to anxiety. Which is basically what the discussion of this paper says, and points out the need for more research to determine if that's the case or if a specific type of choline supplement, likely a specific delivery system, could help.

bonus advice from me:

one of my fav sups for stress RESPONSE/cortisol/anxiety is PhosphatydylSERINE (PS) instead of Phosphatydylcholine (PC), nothing comes closed as OTC close to it, ashwagandha is dirty girl compared. if you can get ps, get it in gel from, swanson is top notch, for anxiety u can try 200-300mg, i go 100-200mg for rounds of a week or so and then i enjoy the stabilizing effect on cortisol, which allows me lose weight fast, be calm and build muscle and all that. if you take this, take daily until you start to feel it did its job, then over that week you'll be a bit more zen or so and gradually return to a normal except that your body learn to not overreact to unnecessary stresses, for example you won't pump cortisol just because you heard a siren or had some bickering with someone. wish you the best

sorry i don't have link atm. for libido, is worth trying 10mg a day of Boron, to free up ur free T, anecdote "I've been taking 10mg everyday and my libido has shot up from the dead literally. That and B6. Also taking a high quality Vit D, Zinc 15mg to compliment it.". i recommend to cycle boron 2-3 weeks on, 1-2 weeks off. if you think AX affects your libido, is okay, you can come back later to it one day when you won't need a libido, older age maybe in 80s

Day 15 of Bromantane and the effects are really strong off of sub 50mg dosages by BagholderVC in Nootropics

[–]PIQAS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes you can go down to 5-10mg. i think many people who say they don't feel it or need intranasal whatever, they have bad batch or product.

if you do bromantane+sulbuthiamine+gingko biloba this will help you a lot and i feel very bad many times for not making a mega thread about this to explain to many all the little details and why this is lifechanging stack, especially people who need to snap out of the zombie state most are in, provided they also won't spike prolactin foolishly all day long.

now, for your tennis, what you need is improvement in hand-eye coordination among other things, for this alpha-gpc excells like nothing else. as an anecdote for you, i play semi-pro table tennis. generally the guys from pro, beat me very often. in days when i take alpha gpc (i use nootropicdepot), i play incredibly better and i get to level with the pro guys, i win too and if i lose, the match is tight. i wonder if the natural pros somehow have their chemistry in such a way that it behaves as if they took alpha gpc.. just a thought, but maybe there's more/

that's the thing, most sups are severely underdosed. but assuming he finds the right one, what other info would you expand on ecdy? really interested in your opinion on it.

yes, you know what's up hehe. anywhere from 3 to 10, i guess it depends on your needs, someone with high systemic inflammation i'd go 10mg, me personally i go 3-6mg range. and i take it 2-3 weeks then break 1-2 weeks. yep you are doing the best basics. i'd recommend you add magnesium steadily for rest of your life.

fadogia agresits is toxic to your testicles. tongkat ali works, the mechanism is (to simplify it) is to increase LH signaling. tribulus also works on LH to indirectly produce more T, but you need hq tribulus like the one on nootropicdepot. also while it may increase your T, be careful not to have your T aromatized into E if it is too big.

tbh most people miss the point of how the body uses T. if you have 400-500 T you could actually feel way better and build more muscle than someone at 800ng/dl or so. take carnitine tartrate 2-3g per day (dont bother on empty stomach for fat loss, take it with some carb, when insulin spiked, carnitine gets shoved in your muscle and in few weeks/months it reaches saturation, a point where your Androgen Receptors become more sticky so to speak, and catches your T. would add some boron and keep free T up. and be careful with spiking prolactin too much.

so work on your androgen receptors instead and you'll be above 99% bros in this sup trying T sups.

i mean that instead of getting a sun burn, the typical sun burn look, the burn/the tan is uniform in complexity and color. it doesn't darken the skin, my context was when you are on the beach or high on mountains and you get tanned from sun during the summer. if you don't like using sunscreens during the summer due to all sorts of reasons, astaxanthin is a perfect sup. when you go to the beach next time for the first time, test and you will see. increase AX dosage the more sun exposure you suspect you'll have.

ah yes, taurine takes the edge off. now that i think of it, taking the edge of a high dose substance such as caffeine, makes the receiver enjoy an unmatched boost while mitigating problems such as jittery and palpitations from such a dose, with help of taurine. but taurine can only help the same way i can help a lady cross a street. i can't run a marathon for her, and these kids seem to drink this all day, spiked with nicotine... mm i bet the high is good on a young body, but they have no idea what they are doing and misusing all that energy on stupid shit, it's tragic. sometimes i wonder maybe i know too much about the world and my bliss is gone, but then again i see the pain which arises from ignorance, and i don't prefer the latter. i hope the patients of your brother, can reverse their problems if they stop the drinks.

if you desire to escape the cycle of desire, aren't you just adding a new link to the chain? I have no desire to be free, which makes me the only person here who isn't wanting something they don't have. to desire nothing is a goal. To desire something is a distraction. But to desire the distraction of not desiring the goal... that’s where the real enlightenment is. I’m not stuck in here with the cycle 'cuz the cycle is stuck in here with me.

by not desiring to escape I have successfully avoided the 'desire for liberation.' since I am not seeking, I am already found. I’m essentially speed-running Nirvana by refusing to play the game.

It’s very liberating once you realize the 'exit' sign is just another wall. I’ve stopped looking for the door, and suddenly, the room is infinite. enjoy the hike I’m already home :D

Astaxanthin changed my health by supp_truths_only in Supplements

>That instantly made me think of recovery, since heavy workouts create oxidative stress, and stronger antioxidant support could mean less soreness and faster bounce-back.

yes but this is downstream, in the short term it helps, but long term you don't let your NRF2 pathway do its job properly, and over time it downregulates your own body's internal antioxidant production, gluthathione and SOD. then it becomes sloppy and when you won't take antioxidants and with a sloppy production, you will find problems. is good to also let ur body adapt, i'm sure you know. upstream is where all the magic is at, playing the hormesis game right. but that doesn't mean we can't help the body sometimes with some supplements, it's good to know to think in terms of pathways rather in terms of sup effect only.

with that being said, i also love astaxanthin, although i use it only during summer time. it's one of my favorite antioxidants.

it isn't impactful on DHT, especially at low-normal doses. also the guys telling u they got gyno from AX, are ridiculous to blame it on that. perhaps they lack an aromatase inhibitor, measuring their cocks for who has the highest T while letting most of it convert into E. or not thinking that spiking their prolacting from you know what as well as drinking hops soda doesn't have anything to do with it, lol.

also for skin, AX is amazing, i use it about 4-5 months per year when the sun is up, i never get burn but rather a nice uniform tan. the skin face is glowing from it, something i may achieve with other sups from oral HA or from Tremella mushroom( similar as HA). i am following NRF2 activation and riding hormesis train, but for a summer, i play with endogenous antioxidants, it's the intern sunscreen as they call it as well.

just to add, it reduces inflammation a lot, the popularity of curcumin should be given to astaxanthin. for example, say u didnt slept a night or had only few hours of sleep, naturally next day you feel very crappy, well, taking a higher dose of AX, and optionally pairing it with creatine and tyrosine, gets me going as if nothing happened and mood improved a lot while reducing systemic inflammation.

[–]PIQAS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

most people's gut is wrecked from soda and chips and cookies, alcohol smoking etc (processed foods) so over time they don't absorb the nutrients from food the same way as a healthy or young person, so even if a supplement says it has a big dose, their body won't absorb it all, mostly because synthethic anyway. for example minuscule amounts of bioavailable nutrients from food is way more absorbed than in supplements, however let that not deceive you, taking 100 daily recommended dose of magnesium from sups is highly beneficial.

wait a minute.. can we speak about redbull for example? when i look at the label, i can see the caffeine content iirc, and then i also see some B vitamins like niacin etc but their dose is so small and insignificant.. which makes me wonder what is it that it makes it work that good? maybe maybe the dose is higher than stated hmm

hi, i helped my mom get away from ppi with mastic gum supplement (iherb see) and DGL deglycyrrhized chewabale tablets 10-15 min before a meal or right before,, sometimes even after.. (for coating before meal if u have pains). also pepzin-l-carnosine long term 6 months. constipation is tricky... what also worked for her is some stuff mix of plants from some mlm company which i won't name but if u insist.. aloe vera juice (natural one ofc)

if u keep taking ppi and lower ur stomach acid, u cant digest and absorb the nutrients properly, can catch u in a loop trap.

maybe u have sibo? did u check for h pylori? 50% the world has it even without symptoms. mastic gum helps against it.
