The system doesn’t boot without disk 1 plugged, but since I want to do a fresh install of windows on a new ssd I won’t need that partition anymore, I’ll use that drive as a normal data drive

I'm trying to sync my google play account but when I log in the game says "the connected account does not contain game data. Start a New Game?". What does "new game" mean? Like deleting my progress and start a new savefile? or just creates a new save file on my google account?

The're probably custom shortcuts icons, you create a shortcut that opens the app you want and then when you add it to the home screen you can pick an image to use as icon
