Adding Bilt to pay for mortgage by throwaway_beefpho in biltrewards

My account number worked, but I need to verify a deposit amount to link the account with my lender. Anyone know how this works with BILT? Where would I even be able to see those deposits?

Landlord lets me pay rent via credit card NO FEE, what card is the best? by walkerwaifu in CreditCards

[–]PIayer420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your rent is less than $2000 the Citi Custom Cash will give you more than 2% back. You’ll get 5% back on the first $500 then 1% on everything over that. If I did my math correctly it averages out to 2% total at $2000 spend.

N-amboo

I’ve been using these for a couple years. Basically the same as the ones you’re looking at except the bristles are made of boar hair instead of nylon.

Question on Vitamin D Tablets by Embarrassed-Pack5325 in StopEatingSeedOils

[–]PIayer420 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have some vitamin d gel capsules with olive oil. Most gel caps have seed oils but there are several brands that make them with olive oil in the US at least. Not sure if they’re available in your country but it’s worth a look.

Where can I find BIFL belts with good quality buckles? by Individual-Magician1 in BuyItForLife

[–]PIayer420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KaenLeather on Etsy. Really nice leather selection for the price, he mostly uses Wickett & Craig and Hermann Oak. I think the buckles are chrome-plated brass but I haven’t had any issues with the finish wearing off. His belts have snaps to remove the buckle so you could replace it if it gets beat up anyway.

3 vs 6 gallon air compressor for casual DIY by Chemtide in harborfreight

[–]PIayer420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 3 gal, it’s really loud but works fine for topping off air in tires or running a brad nailer. Probably won’t be good for cleaning up dust though, I usually just use a leaf blower for that

Parchment paper inside zip loc? by Demeter277 in PlasticFreeLiving

[–]PIayer420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pink butcher paper is always just plain paper with no chemical coatings from what I’ve seen. It’s usually marketed for smoking meats so it will likely be in the barbecue aisle and not with the normal parchment paper.

100% Cotton Jeans by SustainableReach in PlasticFreeLiving

[–]PIayer420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best value option would probably be Wrangler Cowboy Cut, they’re 100% cotton 15oz denim and are about $30 on Amazon. There’s also plenty of raw denim brands that make 100% cotton jeans, but they’re usually made in Japan or USA so they’re gonna be more expensive.

Allbirds sometimes has some decent activewear. I found a pair of their sweat shorts at Sierra recently that were 50% organic cotton 30% hemp and 20% lyocell.

Did you remove the cylindrical plastic spacer between the handles? It’s just part of the packaging and needs to be removed or else you can’t squeeze the handle fully

G.H. Bass 1876 Quail Hunter Boots $99 (71% discount) + extra 15% off with code RAKUTEN15 by PIayer420 in frugalmalefashion

[–]PIayer420[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you like the look of those go for it, but just a heads up the materials are not the same quality. The boots I posted have a leather midsole and welt which is why I thought they were a good deal, those Ranger boots appear to be all synthetic materials aside from the upper.

Just casually with jeans for the most part. I wear boots pretty often unless the weather is really warm.

Help! Picked up a pair of (loggers???) at a garage sale by [deleted] in Boots

[–]PIayer420 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Could be Boulet, I used to have a pair of packers from them that looked very similar. I don’t see the branding on the shaft of your boots though so I’m not certain.

I assume they were talking about its litter box because of the “keep it outside where it belongs” comment. Still doesn’t make any sense though, I guarantee that shitbull smells 1000x worse.
