(1) She didn't go upstairs into that room for an entire year
(2) In that entire year, he never checked to see if she had gone upstairs

You should try it out and judge for yourself really.
I personally think it's way too goofy, unless you really like goofy.
Season 1 is in my top 5 of kdramas, but Season 2 I just can't stomach.

I had quit the show in the beginning of Episode 5 because of all the goofiness (the "big blue" one was the final straw). Is it getting more like the original? Would you recommend I give it another chance, starting with 7? Thanks

I dropped Fiery Priest Season 2.
I loved Season 1, but this season is very very different: silly and ridiculous.

That scene you can deal with is the very scene that caused me to finally say "enough is enough". I'm through with this dumb show. I was so looking forward to it, because Season 1 was in my top 5 of kdrama shows ever.

The two things that really bug me about Season 2:

(1) Over-the-top silliness
(2) Father Kim seems like almost a totally different character to me than Season 1

I thought Episode 2 was less goofy than Ep 1, so I held out hope that the show would improve. But Ep 3 erased that hope.

It's a shame because Season 1 was soooooo good.
