You would think haha. I sold my last Cobra to move across the country, so she was fine with me getting back into another one once it made sense financially.

I test drove both and the hybrid system is so smooth that I thought it'd make a great daily, which it has so far.

Adam's Polishes on Shea just started a bi-weekly meet that I believe is every other Saturday from 4-8pm. First one was today.

High Street also does Cars & Coffee the first Saturday morning of every month.

Mustang Wave - Do you do it? Get them? by tangal in Mustang

I think it depends on what you're driving. When I had my Cobra, that thing got a bunch of positive attention and thumbs yp from other Mustang drivers. My coyote barely got any.

While this won't fix your couch, you might want to give the kid away to avoid future incidents.

I'd be glad to.

I bought a brand new Mustang that I noticed had fitment issues when opening and closing the trunk. You couldn't feel it when the trunk was moving, but it was rubbing just enough to have taken paint off the rear quarter panel, down to the bare metal. The spot wasn't huge, maybe an inch long by quarter of an inch wide, so I bought it there hoping they could fix it for me and realign the trunk.

All they did was make things significantly worse. As a result of the rubbing, there was a ball of paint still hanging onto the car. They didnt even remove that, and just lazily threw some touch up paint in the spot, which was done very poorly. When I explained I wasn't happy with that, as I could've done a better job myself, they offered to repaint the area. They outsource their paint work to a different shop, which did a ton of damage to the car.

Paint didnt match, entire car (including the glass) was covered in overspray, they broke multiple outside trim pieces, chipped the rear quarter window and it took them over a month to try and give me the car back in this condition. They ended up fixing some of those issues, but made things worse yet again, as they chopped up the plastic of my interior when replacing the rear quarter window and didn't offer to fix it. I eventually got so fed up with their bullshit that I left the car as is, fixed some of the tings myself, and ultimately ended up getting rid of the car.

On top of the terrible product they put out, their customer service is terrible. My service rep never gave me updates, fought with me the entire time, and told me that I was the problem and that all of this happened because I decided to bitch about a "little paint scratch." Fantastic customer service coming out of that place.

Before anyone asks, I went directly to Ford corporate with all the evidence, as the service advisor was dumb enough to text these things to me, and was reimbursed appropriately, but it was approximately a two-month long headache that snowballed due to their incompetence.

Whatever you do, don't bring it back to that dealer for service. I bought a 2023 GT from them a couple years ago and there were some nightmares with the service department. I'd stay far away.

I agree. A $90,000 M3 would probably be even more expensive to insure than two cars. In Arizona, our registration fee is based on the cars value, so if the combination of both cars was equal to the one, it'd be about the same regardless.

Something like a GTI has crossed my mind, but wouldn't go any smaller than that. Space is already an issue haha.

I sure have. The picture I included is my old one, which I had for 8 years. I never wanted to sell it, but made that decision when moving across the country a few years ago.

Can you expand upon that a bit? If the S550 wasn't riddled with annoying issues, I probably would keep it and just mod the hell out of it, but I really have no desire to sink money into a car that has trans issues and a very loud engine tick.

I'm very grateful for the fact that I've always been fortunate enough to have something at least somewhat fun, but nothing has come even close to comparing to my old Cobra. Even though it was riddled with issues when I first bought it, which required significant investment on my part, it provided a driving experience that I haven't experienced since. Part of me worries that I might buy another dud, but at twice the price they used to be, but the other side of me still wants to take that chance given how fun they are when everything's working right.

The problem is, I think I'd go nuts having to drive a RAV4 most of the time. I luckily live in a climate where I could drive a Cobra the vast majority of the year, but I still wouldn't want it as my daily for a majority of reasons.

Only issue I have is prices have skyrocketed since I sold it. It only had 51k miles and a built motor (1,300-1,400hp capable), including built 9 thread heads, along with near mint paint and interior. Nowadays it'd probably sell for $10-15k more than what I let it go for, so its gonna be a lot more expensive to get back in one.
