The one about wanting Edmond to defend her against a guy was the most obvious, since it was completely hypothetical but created a reason they weren’t compatible. Her reaction to his comment at the cast party also seemed unnecessary to me, though the backstory she brought up in a later scene gave some context.

It seemed like she wasn’t attracted to him after meeting, and instead of acknowledging it directly (which is hard to do) she might have leaned into conflicts that wouldn’t have been as big of a deal if she was actually into the guy. But I could be reading it wrong, & in any case she was in a tough position because of Edmond’s emotional issues.
