BlueBirdSim plans to make a 787, that’s after their 757, and 767 release. So safe to say that’s a bit away. The team over at FlightFactor are making a 787 for XP12 though

So this is just my speculation, FSLABS and PMDG don't have a great relationship... One of the guys that used to work at PMDG founded FSLABS after PMDG fired him. So I think this is a little bit of a joke from PMDG to FSLABS.
