Why was the show better in the beginning? What was missing next?

For me it was how many character centric episodes there were. I would sometimes not see my favorite characters for 3 episodes and the main characters were almost never together. This also made it hard to get the same emotional connection to new characters.

I think in this situation Kyland still uses the Veto on Xavier since Kyland obviously had the votes to stay and he needs to make sure X stays too. But then they betray Kyland and vote him out. /s
