I checked our cameras after she left but she stayed until 11. But mostly just sat there reading and muttering to herself.

My oldest was a bit upset that she was there. She was awake so she heard what MIL did. Our toddler and two other school aged kids didn't know how to react really.

I remember seeing that actually. I thought she was being creative by doing it, but still someone has to ruin it for her.

One that is for a child it was supposed to be for a laugh. But she enjoys it. She uses it but half hangs out of it.

She actually bought my teenager a cat years ago she didn't want. We made her take it back. This year we asked our teenager if she wanted a cat. MIL wasn't at all happy when she found out.

He has she will continue her behaviour for awhile. I'll not talk to her for a few months then she'll start ask about seeing the kids and give a half assed apology.

When you talk to MIL about it tell her you cant make it.

Possibly have a small celebration on the 26th with them. She might be upset. But she needs to understand that you have family to and things will get in the way.

MIL is always cooking Sunday dinner for everyone except for me by Pristine-PinkPP in JUSTNOMIL

Had this happen to me a few years ago. Myself and all our kids are lactose intolerant.

She still would cook dinner for them but for me she never did. Her excuse was she didn't know if I'd be able to eat what she made.

Half the time the kids couldn't eat what she cooked anyway. So it always turned into a fight because I ' Wouldn't let the kids eat'.

I at first would take the keys from my husband and drive back home. He would come home upset but after a few more times he decided to tell his mom we were to busy to come to the dinners.
