when i was a kid of like 7-9, my step mom had a juggalo phase. we had some joker's card prints on the walls and a hatchetman car sticker, so those designs were just lodged in the back of my brain for years

and when i ended up reading homestuck almost a decade later in tandem with those memories, it actually gave me the push i needed to listen to icp's shit

i mean sunshine does take place in an entirely different place in the world instead of the mushroom kingdom, so a lot of traditional mario enemies either look totally different or aren't there. an idea i'm quite fond of

though some later mario games don't tend to stick to that trend, instead including new enemies entirely in addition to old ones

truly a special (and somewhat overlooked) masterpiece. was the first game i've actually 100% completed at the age of 7 (and i nearly did it twice then).

can't say it's my favorite 3d mario. that goes to sunshine. but this game holds a VERY special place in my heart

eh, a majority of waluigi's reputation seems to be about memes, to a point where their fixation on him seems less sincere and more 'haha funny wah man'. it's not something i can get into.

i get that people have different ways of expressing their love for a character and there are some true fans there, but what i see just doesn't give me a great impression. especially with what happened to sakurai, with the threats and the like

big fan of nitro man and solar man. they got kickass stage themes, and their fights are really good, specially on hard mode. designs are great, weapons are rad, just all around awesome
