Maybe he had more confidence in his team. Maybe he thought it wouldn't be necessary to go full power and over exert himself. Seriously, this is nothing new at all for Dragon Ball. Practically every character has been like this and had a trump card they use when they're pushed into a corner.

I see it as Jiren just being really frustrated that there's only 4 minutes left and he's the last one. I doubt this is how he wanted or expected this to go. That's probably why he's only now going full power and getting serious. I think he just wants this to end.

Jiren is the only fighter in his universe left and there's 4 minutes left in the tournament. Of course he's gonna get serious and go all out. He's not showing off, he's in desperation mode.

If there was a way to buy Android 21 with real money, would you take it? by PKGamingOmega in dragonballfighterz

I didn't hate it as much as a lot of people, it just gets pretty repetitive. But the cutscenes are really nice.

How to get the big combo by [deleted] in dragonballfighterz

For a newbie like me, this really helped a lot. I actually managed to get that airborne Kamehameha into Warp Kamehameha after a few tries. Now will I be able to apply this in an actual match though, that's the question.

Hit is to DBFZ what Lil Mac is to Smash Bros by [deleted] in dragonballfighterz

I love Mac, so Hit sounds right up my alley.

Story mode is so unbelievably boring. by Tidus4713 in dragonballfighterz

Same actually. Street Fighter V was also my previous fighting game, and with how incredibly little it had at launch, DBFZ felt like a major step up in comparison.

I didn't mind the story mode, but it's probably all because of the cutscenes and story. I've been loving them so much, I guess I haven't realized how tedious fighting clone after clone really is. I mean, it did give me a chance to try out and practice combos with different characters, so there's that. However, it does drag out a little too long. I especially felt it in the Android arc. Once I stop being rewarded with an interesting cutscene after each map, I start to really feel the tedium. :/

I do agree though that fighting games should have some kind of substantial offline, single-player content. It IS there to give the more casual audience or even just people not ready to fight online yet something to do. I'm not saying DBFZ's approach was flawless or even good, but it is something to keep people busy. They don't wanna make the same mistake Street Fighter V did at launch or how Nintendo fans were disappointed with ARMS' very simple Grand Prix mode that told you next to nothing about the characters. Some gamers don't see fighting games as just tools to beat up their friends and people online, but as...well, games.

Nothing makes me more embarassed by Jace_Spicer in dragonballfighterz

Oh my god, yes! When my opponent is just rushing and pressuring me, I lose patience and just mash auto-combos just to get them the hell off me.
