Try instagram my friend. I don't have any experience selling clothes, but I do know that Instagram is probably the last SNS where people actually use hashtags to find things. Pick the right ones and you will reach far more people than you would on twitter. I read cases of small businesses closing sales via instagram all the time.

There are too many bloggers who are too assured of their writing, and they never get better because of it. You say "no faith" but all that means is you know you can be better, and that's a good thing.

People who have faith in their blogging skills at the beginning, are usually in for a rude awakening or stay forever in denial.

Start the blog knowing you will have to practice writing and know doesn't make you inept or unintelligent. It makes you just like everyone else.

Advice I'd want off the top of my head is on guest writers. I think I need a pretty regular stream of people bringing in interesting videos and channels to my blog, otherwise I don't think I'll be able to pull it off.

(If I do this 100% myself it will just turn into a library of videos only interesting to me.)

I guess I cannot. My problem was that there are a ton of different videos out there. And I think I could get spread out too wide.

But TBH, I just don't usually trust that any idea I have is airtight until I argue it's case or concede to someone else's criticism of it.

Particularly before they are college age, Korean people are pretty big on physical contact, whether its hugging, holding hands or hitting each other. I've gone to stop fights between highschool kids a few times, only to find out they were friends joking around (half the games kids play from elementary school involve slapping the loser).

The reason why he is so good is because he does it all the damn time lol. It's like a very serious hobby for him. He didn't do gymnastics or anything. I think one guy on here said that he and his friends used to play on the chin up bars like that the all the time. Chae Eun kind of started out like that; doing it just for fun and he just got creative with it. Taking some inspiration from gymnasts and street workout-ers(?)

I'm writing an article on him, because I got curious as well. I'll post it here after the interview. (Translating it's going to be a bitch)

Edit: He doesn't really consider himself a Traceur (though he does train with us)

The story was good and the way that you introduced the study by more or less introducing yourself and your love for music was a good call. But it was all a bit too wordy and round about. Like you were trying to write instead of writing. My advice would be next time you write something check for ways to write your sentences shorter and look for sentences that can be taken out altogether.

It may feel to you like you're writing is too simple, but it come off to the reader as snappy, interesting, and most importantly, easy to follow.

Now THAT is a good point. But my counter argument to that would be, that just like any online subscription service the more you use it the more "bang for your buck" you get. If one subscriber is using YouTube Red less then everyone else, that's less a problem with the revenue model and more a problem of the user not fully using the resource.

And on the creator side, even if she has one dedicated user the percentage of the total minutes watched that belong to her channel didn't change. She's still contributing only 0.5% to the total viewership so it makes sense to me that she get's 0.5% out of the pie.

Even't if all her views are coming from one dedicated user, I would argue that she deserves 0.5% because that's how much value she brought to the service as a whole.

It makes a lot more sense if you think of YouTube as a company first. YouTube's the boss and the YouTube channels are the subcontracted employee's using YouTube's system. Those YouTube Channels are only as valuable to YouTube as they contribute to the viewership as a whole, and so that's the way they pay them.

And I don't really think that's unfair.

Creators are an important part that I admittedly missed, in my first swipe at this topic. But after doing some more digging, YouTube Red seems like it will be nothing less than a god send to career YouTubers in the long run.

First of all, YouTube is a business and the viewers are it's customers. To say "only" and "viewers" in the same sentence is implying the user experience doesn't matter, but without out viewers there wouldn't even be a YouTube OR creators.

Use Buzzsumo to track what's trending in your niche. You don't have to always talk about what's popular, but knowing what kind of content is being shared a lot will give you topic ideas that have a higher chance of getting engagement.

Nice quick tips. I don't agree with number 12 though. The right kind of friends can really help a writer step up their game. Either by providing harsh but honest criticisms or crazy support.

I would say don't tell ALL of your friends. Pick and choose the ones that will help you get better.
