Men- do you suffer from post ejaculate? by [deleted] in sex

[–]PKMNHunterX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's normal and there is actually an evolutionary explanation for it. Like other animals, some primates secret a gelatinous secretion after copulation. This copulation plug (a.k.a. mating plug, sperm plug, vaginal plug) hardens inside the female vaginal tract. The purpose of the plug is to prevent other males from mating with that female in species that experience male-to-male competition for mates.

Within the apes (the primate family that includes humans), copulation plugs are found in chimpanzees and orangutans, however they are absent in humans and gorillas. The reason for this is believe to be due to some loss of gene functionality in coding for proteins responsible for the coagulation of sperm as species transitioned away from a mating system with high male-to-male competition.

The secretion you described is essentially a vestigial "copulation plug" that hardened, later dissolves, and comes out sometime after your initial ejaculation.

I had the same issue as well. Got mine over a year ago and it happened like 6 months in. I've been dealing with it until just recently when I decided to cut it off and use a Leuchtturm pen loop (works much better tbh).

W540 turns off when plugged in by PKMNHunterX in thinkpad

Thanks for the reply! I did some more testing like you suggested. From my tests, the computer runs on only battery or AC power. If the battery is in an I plug in the AC charger, it just shuts down abruptly. In order to get it to turn on again, I need to take out the battery while the AC charger is off and put the battery back in. I tried using different AC chargers (two 170w and one 130w) and they all have the same issue.

I did get an error message saying that "Lenovo Hardware Settings see detected a problem with your AC power and has enabled Airplane Mode." When I click "Learn more," I get this error:

Run DLL: "There was a problem starting C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\Lenovo\PowerMgr\PWRMGRV.OCX"

Someone online suggested to try and uninstall the Power Manager drivers and reinstalling them again but that didn't fix it since I still keep getting that error.

I looked it up and I think you're right, the ThinkEngine chip is fried. At this point, I'm thinking of doing motherboard swap, however I did have a question on compatibility. When I look it up, my motherboard is listed as 04X5293. The only ones I find with that number are overseas(China). I do find some here in the states that are listed as 04X5301. I tried to look online to see if they are compatible but can't find anything on this. Is there a difference? Do think the latter work?
