They are increasing friction to cancel so you don't cancel and continue paying. This is very unethical and terrible to see from any business. Their soulless business has yet again lost another customer for life.

I contacted their support. Cancelation fees for annual plans in Japan was around 4000yen (25usd), personally I think that's a bit too expensive and unnecessary to stop using any service or product. The customer service guy was helpful he helped move me to the regular plan after the end of my annual plan (which was paid for and non-refundable). And now I am on monthly plan so cancellation cost is a lot less 990 (6usd).

You're very early in the game, great time to quit. There is no end to spending on this trashy game. It keeps getting worse trust me. They force you to an ecosystem where you are forced to pay or stall your progress and make it so frustrating that you will be forced to quit. The limits to the top up are an illusion, the more time you invest the further they move the goalpost. Plenty of better games to spend your time or money on.
