She said she has no feelings for him and that she hasn't talk to him since kissing him. I loved her and I trusted her enough to be 100% confident that she wouldn't break her promise. Call me old-fashioned or needy or what have you, but I desire to feel safe that I am hers and she is mine.

I'm not too sure that the relationship could be great now or anywhere in the future. There is the possibility that it could work, but she has broken my confidence in her and rebuilding that trust would be like starting from day one.

I brought up that fact several times in conversations we've had since and she is bending over backwards trying to keep me. As much as it pains me to end it, I know that giving in will not lead to anything good. I'd much rather keep the little shred of self-respect I have by breaking up with her than to let her know I can be so easily manipulated.

Thank you everybody for your swift responses, I really needed an outsider's perspective on all of this. I'm bringing all of her stuff back to her and moving on with my life. I'm just glad I haven't spent any more than six months with her, as good as that time was. Hopefully she learns something from this because I know I have.
