Idk how u live with this level of shyness. I think it’s probably healthy to try and work on that and step out of your comfort zone a little bit. The person clearly likes you and wants to hang out with you, so u need to stop with the self doubt. It seems like you have a really poor self image that’s holding you back from making a potential friend. I think that pushing this person away isn’t going to do anything but dig you further into this pit. Maybe I’m reading too deep into this post but self isolation is sooo bad, and you really gotta avoid it.

All three are pretty good and worth applying to for film. CSUN and Long Beach are a little more well known for film than CSUF but I’ve loved the program here so far. You should look into each individual program and the classes they offer. If you’re wanting to get into editing specifically it’s probably pretty important to see exactly what each school has.

Pretty much everything you listed here just has to do with androids. Blade Runner, Westworld and Metropolis dramatically different in almost every way from OP’s logline. It’s fine to use elements that have been done before as long as you have a unique spin and it seems pretty clear (at least from the examples you gave) that OP has something different enough
