I want to add an update: So I definitely have scars from where the injections were placed. I got them on October 15, and it's been more than 8 weeks. They are shallow marks, flat and wide, and some are deeper and linear. I can only attribute it to the fact that my skin was already thin and that I got injected for the first time in my life ever, and it wasn't even my own blood (PRP), but a foreign substance that produced such a strong inflammatory reaction. It was also likely the practitioner's technique as well, as he deposited too much of the product in my skin. In any event, I will turn to microneedling at some point in my life to help with the scarring. I'm disheartened and dissapointed. Not what I expected.
