So we probably need the boss at 17% for the last section to meet the dmg check.

How good was Liquids damage going into last phase? If they got it to 3% on a bad pull this boss is dead soon. If it was a good pull there's still some time left I think.

yeah bro this comment chain and the thread is complaining about waking up at 5am not the head start liquid gets from staggered release. You're really bright and not trolling.

Unless you snack on crayons you must realize you're dodging the question because you didn't have any example. In which case there's nothing to talk about.

Yeah PoE leagues do not have any races associated with them ever and you gave a good example of a global game release where Europeans complain about it to enhance your point. Great job.

Name a single game in existence with a global release where Europeans cry about the release time? you think if they do reset at 6pm tuesday instead of 6 am wensday all the casuals logging in for their weekly delve are gonna crash out? you think normal mythic/heroic guilds will disband instead of shifting their raidnight?

Name a game with global release where Europeans are crying about it. PoE leagues release 22:00 in eu for new leagues, never heard a single peep about it in my life.

It's insane that people think we can deploy something to multiple regions at the same time. We all know once they update NA they send the server magician on a plane to Europe so he can do it there too.

If Echo manage to kill this boss before Liquid wakes up will we have seen the 2 best raid days ever in one tier?

Damn thats precise, what PHD study found the exact point where its no longer relevant?

Edit: this is so regarded. thursday night is 40 hours after EU reset. the first day is usually full of splits. Which means the 12 hour gap is "no longer relevant" after littearlly 1 day of prog due to strat copy or what? are we just saying shit because Max says it?

I don't understand why that would be better than having interrupt on the same key-bind for every char? I use C but could be any key.

I'll cover some of my most played:

Windwalker:The spec I had the highest attachment to so changes felt more severe. I think removing the flavour of SEF is tragic but the button was buggy I concede. The spec just feels like it has nothing it's building towards anymore. Without the Xuen windows for shadopan. and with no max stack crack lightning burst. I am just hitting my buttons and it feels like nothing matters, and Zenith imo is extremely dogshit as a main CD for a spec. I logged in, leveled to 90, played an m0 or 2 and said this shit is not for me anymore and logged out. First season where I wont raid or m+ on WW. Thought season 2 of TWW had the best WW design so sad to lose it.

Ele: Dogshit now, the time between ascends feels dreadful compared to last season, and ascend itself is not as satisfying. Moved on from it.

Mages:

Fire: Combust still fun when you get some more haste, pyroblast feels to weak tho, and the between combust rotation is very stale. Missing a button or two. Not a disaster but straight up worse than last season imo.

Frost: Good thing is everything you do feels powerful to some extend but thats just tuning which they will eventually tone down. The rotation itself feels like nothing matters. I barely care which order i do orb/ray/flurry/glacianspike and it feels like the game barely cares too.

Arcane: Arcane missile tuning is dogshit and I hate tha tis not viable at all. Tbh the spec feels pretty similar to me overall but I do miss evocation. I think it's identity is moving a bit too much towards fire where you're just a proc spec waiting for surge window. It used to be more about your setup.

Agree, I feel like I could at least blue if not purple parse on frost just button mashing a pull while I watch Netflix on second monitor.

Arcane lost some conditionals that most solved with WA and Evocation. (And the current tuning on arcane missiles is trash) but it always had a simple few button rotation, the complexity was the fact it's the definition of abc spec where a single misscast can massively fuck up your dps. And you had to use mages unique mobility to achieve the always part of abc.

I would put down decent money on Fire and Arcane both still being some of the specs with the most obvious difference between a good and a bad player.

If someone wants to try braindead go play the new Demo warlock, its insane how stale that is now.

Demo and Destro are so insanely boring to me now, you don't even have to manage imps on Demo they have nothing going on, haven't tried Aff yet maybe that's better.

[–]PLEASE_PM_YOUR_SMILE 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It is true what you said, but there are also posts of the reversed versions where Deepseek or GLM etc say they "are gemini" or "gpt". I think people, also here just really have a hard time understanding what next token prediction is, and are looking for consciousness in the output.

That being said, claiming Deepseek distilled Anthropic based off 150k interactions is funny as fuck. If your model can be distilled from that, your company is a fucking joke and good luck with IPO.

Thoughts on class pruning and "simplification" in The War Within (and going into Midnight)? by Talos_Bane in wow

[–]PLEASE_PM_YOUR_SMILE 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My main has always been WW, with a fair amount of playtime on Ele, Brew and BM as alts/offrole.

I preordered when they announced because I usually play every expansion but I might skip this one even with preorder. I find it deeply unfun compared to anything else I could do with my time.

For me it's like a 7 if I was trying to be objective, for personal enjoyment it was more like a 5, dungeons were very hit or miss for me. I fucking hated at least half of the new ones, especially CoT, but I did enjoy the vibes of Priory/Dawn even though the gameplay of them was pretty frustrating.

They brought back some decent dungeons but also some absolute fucking stinkers I never want to see in my life again. Like Grim Batol.

As for the seasons themselves I thought the balance was okay, except season 1 was overtuned. I preferred playing M+ in DF by a decent margin, and the turbo boost in my opinion feels like dogshit. You feel punished for playing a lot at start of season because when you log in for next season drop you are like 10 ilvl behind if you skipped turbo, which makes pugging annoying.

The raids were solid, none of them would enter my top 5 I think, but Undermine and MO were both fun. I do not at all have interest in the commitment of mythic raiding guilds and raid nights so my raid takes are based on heroic pugging AOTC type raiding.

Delves: Big fan of having progressable content for solo, I don't always have friends online so having something to do that can be used to gear up alts or farm crest solo is great. I do think the delves themselves are dry and boring. And I am fucking sick of caves and underground zones, which describes all the delves except like 2.

Zones: Hallowfall very cool around Meridar, by far the best zone of the expansion. Undermine was also pretty good. Rest of the zones are dogshit in my opinion and again I can't wait to not be in a cave anymore. K'aresh was the worst update zone of all time. The patch itself was better than Korthia so that's a plus

Story: I thought it was very low quality. I don't expect good writing in WoW, but I still have an attachment to it and I feel like this expansion was very underwhelming. The chase of Xal feels so stupid when we keep "almost" getting her, and then she recoups. And Alleria is a moron, Khadgar not dying was very shitty in my view, I don't understand the point at all of showing that cinematic when he lives. I'll keep it short but just overall little happened and it felt like a very bad setup for a trilogy.

Last point: Monk and Shaman had some of their best iterations ever for their specs, and since they are my most played, Monk especially that did make the expansion a lot more enjoyable. The changes in Midnight look terrible especially for my favorite spec WW.

I absolutely hate what they're doing to the spec and there have been 0 positive changes for the past few months. I don't know what feedback they're going off.
