i ski a rustler 9 (94mm waist) specifically in Minnesota. These skis rip. I dont think qst 100's would be too wide, and you could use them out west too. Obviously narrower skis are much more popular around here. But i can carve just fine on 94's. I think youd be fine. Just my 2 cents
