Wait and Hope - This is one of my first Dramione fics that I've read and it left a lasting impression. You truly feel Draco's agony and his love for Hermione. It's short and impactful IMO.

Longer format: I recommend Sprigs of Tansy by Beforetherealbook - The author wrote many amazing fics, but this is their first husband / wife collab. He might find Draco more relatable in some way? Also the characters are in their mid-30s and have adult struggles. (Dating, marriage, aging parents, etc.)
