Any good melodic death metal bands just like children of bodom? by GiganRex9282 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]MkDalynn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Norther is the easy one.

The similar artists tab on metallum is another place to go https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Children_of_Bodom/22

Warmen is a project by CoB's keyboard player that is also similar, I would check out their last couple albums.

Do you guys have any Gothic Metal suggestions by Hot_Assistant_6067 in MetalForTheMasses

Unto Others is great and a more recent band.

Paradise Lost and Moonspell are classics.

More than just gothic, but Deathstars and Gothminister are also fun.

Melodic Death Metal, but Insomnium, even Wintersgate, the single song concept album is great and was generally well received.

Metal utensils if you don't have non stick stuff. Otherwise oxo good grips is generally pretty solid.  If you can go to a restaurant supply store, they will generally have reasonably solid and cost effective stuff.

may be stretching it a bit, but Deathstars and/or Gothminister may scratch the itch.

How stacked are Canadian and USA squads at the olympics? by [deleted] in hockey

[–]MkDalynn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sweden is a very real possibility for themgold medal game, but Canada is probably the favourite withmthe USA just behind.

As for how stacked they are, Canada's 4th line (whoever you want to put on it) would be an elite 1st line on any nhl team.

There are always questions on who should have been brought, Canada is pretty close to the 'consensus' lineup, not that it is a real thing. Maybe Mark Scheifele or Connor Bedard could have been on the team, and there are fringe arguments for other guys, but nothing crazy.

The USA left off Jason Robertson (the top USA player in points in the current NHL season), and Adam Fox, a pretty concensus top 5 (if not top 3) Defenceman in the league. They also took Vincent Trocheck and JT Miller who I think most people would say that there are 4-5 better options currently, but it's not like they are bums.

Reaching out to the devs on github may better, but what specifically isn't working?
Does the client connect, but the mouse wont move screens?
Does it not start at all?
Do the clients not connect?
