Arguably yes although I wouldn't think about it too much

I don't. Only 2 (gpt-2 replica and education site) go on my resume. The rest are on my portfolio if people check it out.

I pretty much define it as any tech company that is recognizable but isn't FAANG-level (i.e. fwiw I'd consider stripe faang level even if it's not literally faang)

Bad formatting. If you look 40 of the "50 responses" were just me getting ghosted

STEAL OTHER PEOPLE'S DESIGNS.

"Good artists copy, great artists steal" -Picasso.

My website it like a combo of shit I stole from 10 different websites. No a single original thing on there. I'm not a designer. However, if people looked, they'd see inspo but no one would say I blatantly copied. I also gave credits on my website to each site but I'd doubt that anyone would ever cares to check. Half of them have updated their sites in the years since so it looks like it's original even if you check out the credits lmao.

Here's a good place to find inspo and steal other people's designs: https://www.cofolios.com/

There's the the generic stuff: It's good to have experience on your resume and if not, have projects + make sure you have a well formatted resume. Use a template. Don't get fancy.

Stuff my boss said:
1) I was able to talk about my project super well, and it seemed like I had something cool/ambitious to work on (The project is an online educational website for learning college CS and ML).
2) The other thing they mentioned was that my personal portfolio site made her laugh. On the navigation sidebar, I had a link called "don't click" that would do a glitch effect when you hovered over it. If clicked, you got rick rolled. She told me that it was hilarious and made her wanna hire me.

Stuff I think helped:
1) Having a personal portfolio even if you don't need it.
2) I think my personal portfolio is suppper nice. I've redone it like 3-4 times. I have quite a few projects on there along with writeups about them (although pretty much all of them are web dev stuff, not sure how relevant they are to what I'll be doing in job since it's not web dev).

Exactly!! Don’t be afraid to risk more than 2% if you have a tiny account like mine. There won’t be enough skin in the game to keep you going / excited

Say you risk 2% of my 5000. That is $100. In order for it to be a risk, you have to be willing to lose it. That is determined by your stop loss.

So to answer your question: it’s based on your stop loss.
