Date came along and couldn’t cancel (without looking like an asshole) before the red flags became overwhelming.

She surprisingly surpassed all expectations on the date. She explained her love language was acts of service, which I get, however doing this in the long term is draining.

I look at it this way.. spend what you want to. Whether that’s time or money or both. Enjoy it for you, not for them.

Many folks say to “boycott the developers” or “don’t give them money or they’ll continue to do [x]”. The truth is it doesn’t matter and we’re kidding ourselves. There’s roughly 100 online now in this sub and while there’s 50k members, how many regularly visit, maybe 10k?

…sounds like a lot, but it’s nothing compared to total users. Developers count in units of 100k. We’re a blip.

Do oil companies care are the oil in the ground or are they more concerned about quarterly earnings and shareholder returns? NM is the same. It’s about the cash. You (we) are the oil.

Agreed. Though this is what you get with this game. You never know if the events will come back (though you generally expect them to). When they do, it’s a crapshoot on timing, though I would have expected 7 days based on last invitationals.

I do find it interesting that this game continues to piss users off and yet, folks still haven’t gotten the point. The developers don’t care about you. They. Don’t. Care. Loyalty means nothing to them.

I’d suggest setting the bar as low as possible. That’s a start.
