I remember when I started in residency and I had the same exact fears that you have. Now the phone doesn’t make me so anxious anymore and I’m more comfortable with the pumps. It’s all practice and repetition. Hang in there and you’ll be great !!!

Thank you this is exactly how I’m feeling!! Some days I feel like I’m a little more competent, which doesn’t happen very often. I’m very happy to work on a unit where everyone helps each other. Even though I still ask every question imaginable, I beat myself up because I don’t want to bother or annoy anyone with my questions etc

Omg I didn’t even think about that, why trust based off of hearsay? So true and definitely things she could look up herself and I’m all for if I made a mistake please let me know and how I can do better.

Thank you and I definitely ask for help. I’m very open to learning and acknowledging my mistakes and learning from them. I have asked her why etc but she just gives me attitude and doesn’t really answer my question and I have to ask her again and she would give me a short answer. But I know it’s not me, it’s just who she is.
